DESCRIPTION
One of the more important elements of navigating thru our built environment is signage, whether interior or exterior. Signs should have a purpose – to Describe, to Identify, and to Direct. We will explore the different types in a scoping sense, and where they are located in order to better understand and integrate signage into our language of architecture.

Understand signage in terms of scoping for Access and how to avoid signage grafﬁti
Review the different sign types and what is required to be communicated by each
Learn about where different sign types are to be used and located
Overview the elements each sign type is comprised of
